Job Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. The candidate should be enthusiastic about software development, focusing on building scalable and high-performance applications. Collaboration with front-end developers, designers, and other team members is essential for delivering effective solutions to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hands-on solutions utilizing Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, AWS cloud services, and microservices architecture.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and design user interface components primarily with Angular or similar frameworks.
• Engage actively in product lifecycle stages including design, coding, testing, deployment, and rotational production support.
• Lead technical deliberations, assess diverse methodologies, and advocate optimal engineering solutions within a collaborative environment.
• Encourage robust software architecture, enforce coding standards, emphasize security protocols, testing, and error prevention mechanisms.
• Implement and sustain application functionalities alongside comprehensive automated testing suites involving unit, component, integration, and functional tests.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines aiming at enhancing deployment efficiency and stability.
• Work jointly to enhance test coverage, speed of release cycles, and maintain production reliability.
• Participate in peer code assessments and Scrum/Agile team practices.
• Manage ownership of features encompassing conception, design, and deployment by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute innovative ideas to product improvements, adopt emerging technologies and programming languages, and foster innovation.
• Architect and implement cloud-adapted applications prioritizing scalability, resilience, and uptime.
• Translate business needs into robust technical architectures and oversee implementations across major platform components.
• Guide large-scale technology projects, mentor colleagues, and enhance overall engineering quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architectural teams, and global engineers to produce high-caliber software solutions.
• Partner with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams for infrastructure management, deployment, tuning, and operational support.
• Design AI and GenAI-backend services including functions like summarization, classification, search, and recommendations.
• Develop microservices utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLM) featuring enterprise-grade security and monitoring.
• Build event-driven architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIs utilizing modern frameworks and continuous integration/delivery approaches.
• Address risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery within agile development cycles.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and ongoing enhancements to development and delivery workflows.

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

• At least 6 years of professional experience, preferably 6-9 years in software development.
• Proficiency with Java version 8 or higher.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong grasp of RESTful API design and Microservices architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Angular and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Competence in SQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git version control system.
• Understanding of design and architecture principles, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Programming experience with JavaScript and Python.
• Knowledge of API management using Apigee API Gateway.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and configuration management via Spring Cloud Config.
• Skills in continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Adherence to Test Driven Development methodologies.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Spring Security.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms including GitHub Actions.
• Understanding NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Use of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with BPMN tools and frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
