Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular to join our team as a Senior Developer or Developer. This role is based in Mumbai and Bangalore, India, and requires over 6 years of professional experience.
Primary Responsibilities and Expectations
- Demonstrate curiosity and a deep understanding of detailed functional requirements and business processes.
- Quickly learn new concepts and proactively identify and resolve challenges.
- Possess a solid track record of developing applications using Angular and Java Spring Boot, emphasizing API and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate proficiently with cross-functional and matrixed teams, maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders.
- Implement thorough unit testing strategies to ensure software quality.
- Thrive in fast-paced Agile environments, adapting effectively to evolving project needs.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in Java Spring Boot framework.
- Advanced skills in Angular, including writing test cases with Karma.
- Experience with Microservices development and JSON RESTful services.
- Expertise in JPA/Hibernate for database interaction.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Version control tools such as GIT or equivalents.
- Familiarity with SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with micro frontend architecture using Angular.
- Knowledge of responsive web design techniques.
- Working knowledge of XML and Apigee API management.
- Front-end scripting with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Styling with SCSS.
- Exposure to PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
- Familiarity with Concourse or Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
