A permanent position located in Chennai for a Performance Testing Consultant with over 7 years of experience. The role demands a comprehensive approach to design, execution, and analysis of performance testing within complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement performance testing strategies and detailed plans.
• Create performance test scripts and scenarios aligned with specific business needs.
• Execute various performance test types such as Load, Stress, Volume, Spike, and Endurance testing.
• Evaluate system elements including applications, databases, and infrastructure to detect performance bottlenecks.
• Continuously monitor system resources while tests are running to assess impact.
• Diagnose performance problems and liaise with development teams to facilitate resolutions.
• Compile detailed performance testing reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Engage in capacity planning and tuning efforts to enhance system performance.
• Integrate performance testing routines within Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work collaboratively with software architects, developers, and DevOps professionals to ensure optimal performance outcomes.
