Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and resilient APIs and microservices, as well as updating legacy platforms. This is an on-site position requiring attendance five days a week.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing APIs and microservices following modern best practices. They will participate in transforming older systems to up-to-date technologies and work in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong foundation in Core Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Expertise in developing and securing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of distributed system architecture and serverless computing patterns.
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes including Scrum and Kanban.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within teams.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Kafka messaging system.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Proficiency with Git version control and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Understanding of configuration management techniques.
- Background in Financial Services or FinTech sectors is advantageous.
Additional Information
- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Work mode: Full-time from office, Monday to Friday.
- Salary range offered: Between 600,000 and 1,600,000 INR annually.
- Immediate joining preferred, but can accommodate up to 15 days notice period.
- Face-to-face interview is scheduled for Saturdays and is mandatory.
