Job description
Role & Responsibilities
As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java applications. Your tasks include creating and improving RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, writing clean and efficient code in alignment with coding standards and best practices. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand and fulfill business requirements, troubleshoot and optimize application performance, and participate in code review as well as testing activities. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and refining SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database components, contributing to CI/CD workflows, managing deployments, preparing technical documentation, and supporting production issues when necessary.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Between 5 to 8 years of practical experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java versions 8, 11, and 17.
- Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture principles.
- Experienced in building RESTful APIs.
- Familiar with Hibernate and JPA technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledgeable in version control using Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Comfortable working in Linux or Unix environments.
- Good grasp of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and data structures.
Eligibility Criteria
