Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and sustain scalable applications using Java technologies.
• Develop resilient APIs and microservices leveraging contemporary frameworks.
• Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Technical Leads, and developer teams.
• Engage in solution architecture, code analysis, and enhance system performance.
• Execute high-quality software solutions adhering to Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
• Assist with testing phases, deployment processes, and remedy production issues.
• Promote ongoing enhancement of engineering practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Proficient with Core Java (version 8 or above).
• Skilled in Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of messaging technologies such as Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Familiar with build and deployment tools including Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Competent in version control and testing tools such as Git, GitLab, JUnit, Cucumber, Jira, and Sonar.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), release management, and providing production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience or knowledge in the banking or cash management domains is beneficial.
