About the Role
We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate must be able to join immediately, within 1 to 3 days after client selection. Note that we are specifically looking for someone skilled in Java backend development complemented by Python and AI integration, not a solely Python-focused developer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-grade Java applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture following SOLID principles and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Implement advanced Java concepts such as Collections, multithreading, concurrency, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Design and enforce integration patterns using API gateways, proxies, caching, and distributed messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Create secure REST APIs with JWT, OAuth2, and Single Sign-On while emphasizing rigorous unit and integration testing, performance tuning, and distributed debugging.
- Utilize Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask to integrate Java applications with large language models including OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Anthropic Claude, and AWS Bedrock.
- Leverage expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Milvus), embeddings, semantic search, prompt engineering, AI agents, and function calling to build advanced intelligent assistants, chatbots, and workflow automations.
- Employ orchestration tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel, and be familiar with AI/ML libraries including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Ensure AI implementations strictly comply with data privacy, governance, and security standards.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and DevOps tasks, utilizing CI/CD pipelines built with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Handle containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Monitor application health and performance using tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
- Design and optimize databases in both relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, Cassandra, Graph databases).
