About the Role
Join Pilot Flying J in Hope, British Columbia, as a Janitorial Maintenance Associate and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests. You will contribute to maintaining clean and well-functioning facilities within our travel center, ensuring a positive experience for professional drivers, commuters, and vacationers alike. This position offers opportunities for career growth and cross-training in other roles within travel centers and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the travel center store and facilities.
- Clean and maintain shower and restroom areas to high standards.
- Manage washing, loading, and unloading towels for shower usage.
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the store.
- Collect and dispose of all trash around the travel center grounds.
- Deliver excellent guest service by maintaining well-kept and sanitary facilities.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a similar janitorial or maintenance role.
- Preferred: Familiarity with industrial equipment and minor repair abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly starting wage ranging from $18.40 to $23.23.
- Weekly salary payments.
