Janitorial Maintenance Associate

About the Role

Join Pilot Flying J as a Janitorial Maintenance Associate where you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for a diverse range of guests including professional drivers, commuters, and vacationers. This position offers a vibrant work atmosphere with opportunities for cross-training and advancement within various travel center and restaurant roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of the travel center store
• Clean and maintain shower and restroom areas
• Manage laundry operations including washing, loading, and unloading towels for showers
• Conduct general repair and maintenance tasks within the store
• Collect and dispose of trash around the travel center premises
• Deliver excellent customer service through well-maintained facilities

Qualifications

• Self-motivated individuals who work well independently
• Team players with the ability to coordinate with others
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk throughout the majority of the shift
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
• Preferred: Previous janitorial or maintenance experience
• Preferred: Familiarity with industrial equipment and minor repair skills
