Job Details

• Full-time position
• Workdays: Monday through Friday
• Hourly wage: $13
• Weekly pay schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and upkeep of all floor surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Handle chemical cleaners and cleaning equipment safely to prevent damage to floors and furnishings
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entry areas
• Empty and properly dispose of trash; operate compactors as needed for certain waste
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using suitable products and tools
• Conduct spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning like extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper products and sanitary items regularly
• Adhere to a structured housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally operate heavier cleaning machines, including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Carry out additional duties assigned in line with client requirements or scope of work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months experience in janitorial work
• On-the-job training provided
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Familiarity with floor maintenance techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities upkeep advantageous
