IT Technician

Overview

The IT Technician at Aritza Gold Private Limited is tasked with overseeing and ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's IT infrastructure across multiple domains including jewellery manufacturing, office, and operational environments. This involves hardware, networking, security systems, software applications, and related technical support.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment while troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Manage and support LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, internet connectivity, network security, file sharing, and network printer setups.
• Monitor and maintain the operational status of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems; troubleshoot connectivity and recording; ensure secure access to footage.
• Oversee biometric and RFID attendance systems including maintenance, issue resolution, and coordination with HR for enrollment and data management.
• Install and update authorized software, antivirus, and operating systems; provide technical assistance for ERP, manufacturing, inventory, and CAD systems; assist with data backup and recovery.
• Respond promptly to IT support requests, maintain detailed service records, and liaise with external vendors while educating employees on IT basics and cybersecurity.
• Protect company information and resources by enforcing security protocols and promptly reporting incidents like malware or data loss.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Hardware and Networking, or equivalent.
• Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, and networking.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred.
• Proven skills with CCTV, biometric attendance systems, printers, and network troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, including hardware maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP networking, routers, switches, and network printer setup.
• Experience with CCTV systems including DVR/NVR and IP cameras, as well as biometric attendance systems and related software like ESSL.
• Familiarity with antivirus solutions, basic backup and recovery processes, IT asset management, and user access control.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems and jewellery CAD applications is a plus.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges between INR 30,000 to INR 40,000.
