About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Support and Full Stack Developer to manage technical support, system maintenance, and continuous feature development for a range of digital platforms including healthcare recruitment sites, medical education portals, and online assessment tools.
The position involves maintaining high availability of our platforms, addressing technical issues, designing scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, and embedding AI-driven enhancements such as automated evaluation and intelligent search functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2 and 3 application support across web properties, troubleshooting front-end bugs, API failures, database irregularities, and issues with payments and form submissions.
- Ensure monitoring and upkeep of site performance, uptime, SSL certificates, domain management, and integrations like payment gateways, CRM webhooks, and email services.
- Support internal teams by managing user access, implementing role-based access control, and facilitating technical onboarding for new tools.
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces for candidate portals, course hubs, and interactive assessments.
- Create reliable RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend processes to handle user authentication, commerce sequences, and automated reports.
- Maintain well-documented, reusable code components and libraries.
- Design, configure, and sustain scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage.
- Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure data security, manage secrets securely, perform automated database backups, and apply vulnerability patches.
- Implement generative AI models and APIs such as Azure OpenAI and vector search to automate candidate workflows, test evaluations, and enhance internal search capabilities.
- Develop automated data processing flows to optimize search indexing and improve matching systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Over 3 years of combined experience in full-stack development and IT web application support.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including modern JavaScript/TypeScript, frameworks like React, Next.js or Vue.js, semantic HTML5, and responsive CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or CSS3.
- Experienced in back-end development using Node.js/Express, Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django), or C#/.NET Core.
- Knowledgeable in cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes on Microsoft Azure, containerization with Docker, and building automated CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI integrations involving LLM prompts, vector search, and Azure Cognitive/OpenAI services.
- Competent in relational and NoSQL database management (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), including optimizing queries and designing schemas.
- Understanding of web security principles including OAuth2, JWT authentication, and API security best practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting multi-location environments and e-learning or recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with WordPress/WooCommerce, headless CMS configurations, and debugging PHP/MySQL applications is an advantage.
