IT Support Specialist

About the Role

This freshly established position offers a reliable and stable working environment with full autonomy in managing local IT operations complemented by robust assistance from a regional team. The role is 100% onsite in Singapore, dedicated to a professional aiming for a long-term, independent role within a prestigious legal firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main hands-on IT contact for under 20 office members including attorneys and support staff, managing everything from complex technical troubleshooting to everyday IT tasks.
• Perform installation, configuration, imaging, and repair of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and network components while maintaining data room hardware and infrastructure.
• Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment for internal and external meetings.
• Support hardware deployments, manage technology allowances, process user access changes, and provide introductory IT training.
• Collaborate effectively with the regional technology team, reporting to the Tech Manager in Hong Kong and coordinating with a Tokyo analyst to ensure adherence to global IT policies.

Skill and Experience Requirements

• Five to eight years of practical IT support experience, preferably seeking a position with long-term stability and ownership of local IT systems.
• Strong communication abilities to liaise with international partners, attorneys, and regional teams.
• Previous experience in legal or professional services is a plus, though applicants from any sector with strong service focus are encouraged to apply.
• Well-versed in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office tools, mobile device management for iOS and Android, remote access technologies like Citrix, and basic networking principles.

Compensation and Additional Information

This is a permanent role offering a monthly salary ranging from $5000 to $8000, coupled with company benefits and perks designed to support your professional and personal needs.
