IT Project Manager - Cards & Payments

About the Role

Nair Systems LLC is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager dedicated to Cards and Payments for its operations in Doha, Qatar. This role demands deep expertise in banking technology, specifically within credit, debit, prepaid cards, ePayments, and regulatory schemes. The professional will lead complex IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, deadlines, budget, and compliance frameworks by engaging with various internal and external stakeholders including business teams, vendors, card schemes, and compliance units.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Manage comprehensive IT projects end-to-end, covering planning, execution, monitoring, closure, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate tightly with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams to align project objectives and timelines.
• Implement structured governance with robust documentation, reporting, escalation processes, and change management controls.
• Oversee project risks, dependencies, issues, change requests, and escalations proactively.
• Maintain clear communication lines with senior executives, business units, technology teams, and external partners.

Domain Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of tokenization processes, PCI DSS standards, electronic payments, digital wallets, and payment processing flows.
• Familiarity with various card schemes, certifications, mandates, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, vendor relationship management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving with a proactive delivery mindset.

Experience & Certification Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of experience managing IT projects preferably within banking, financial services, payments, or digital banking sectors.
• Possession of PMP certification is mandatory or highly desired.
