Overview
We are collaborating with a professional services firm in Doha to recruit a seasoned IT Project Manager responsible for overseeing the execution of essential technology projects throughout the organization. This opportunity suits candidates who excel in dynamic, regulated settings and possess extensive experience managing full project lifecycles within sectors such as banking, insurance, or financial technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete delivery of IT projects, from initiation stages to execution and post-launch maintenance.
- Establish project parameters including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting aligned with corporate objectives.
- Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders across business units, senior executives, and external vendors.
- Proactively identify potential risks, challenges, and dependencies; develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Assure adherence to regulatory obligations and internal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure personnel, and vendors to facilitate project progress.
- Monitor and report on project metrics such as KPIs, milestones, and financial status.
- Assist with change management processes and encourage user engagement and adoption.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Have between five and ten-plus years’ experience managing IT projects within financial services like banking, insurance, or fintech.
- Demonstrated success in delivering sophisticated technology initiatives, including digital transformation, core systems upgrades, payment solutions, or data platform projects.
- Deep familiarity with various project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
