Role Overview

The IT Manager guarantees the stable operation and continuous advancement of the company's ERP platform, which covers Production Planning, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and HR departments. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and fulfill operational needs, maintaining daily system functionality, leading system upgrades, troubleshooting, and securing data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. The IT Manager also supervises the internal IT team and manages vendor interactions when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ERP functions such as user access administration, configuration updates, incident analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain data integrity, master data governance, and standardize business processes across all ERP modules.
• Manage ERP system updates including patches and releases in close cooperation with business users.
• Serve as the main IT liaison for business units and department leaders, translating operational requirements into technical solutions and prioritizing requests.
• Support key users during critical operational phases like month-end closings, production scheduling, and audits.
• Train and guide process owners to ensure proper ERP system use and adoption.
• Coordinate with functional consultants and business teams to deliver system enhancements with defined acceptance criteria.
• Handle integrations between ERP and other systems such as manufacturing execution, payroll, electronic data interchange, business intelligence reporting, and document management.
• Produce timely and accurate reports and dashboards for operational and management decision-making while standardizing reporting protocols.
• Ensure IT system security and enforce ERP access controls including role-based permissions, auditing, and compliance adherence.
• Manage IT backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for mission-critical systems.
• Supervise vulnerability management, security awareness initiatives, and incident response collaborations with IT and security teams.
• Lead and mentor the IT team with clearly defined roles, expectations, and performance standards.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and change management governance.
• Manage the IT budget for ERP support, infrastructure, software licenses, and enhancement projects.
• Develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned with company business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least five years of experience in a managerial IT role within a large industrial organization.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One considered a plus.
• Proficient communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
