IT Infrastructure Group Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Group Manager to oversee IT infrastructure and service desk functions across various companies within the Group. This position aims to unify infrastructure and service delivery standards and consolidate platforms, licensing, and support into a centralized, governed approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and execute company-wide standards for infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, cloud services, and backup systems.
• Lead and manage the Group’s service desk operations, ensuring consistent service levels, escalation protocols, and high-quality support across all locations.
• Drive platform consolidation, including tenants and licensing, and develop a standardized onboarding process for integrating new or acquired companies.
• Oversee a geographically dispersed technical team responsible for systems administration, cloud operations, and service desk services.
• Handle vendor relationships, manage infrastructure budgets, and allocate costs appropriately among operating entities.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure spanning multiple companies or legal entities rather than a single organization.
• Proven leadership capabilities managing distributed teams and budgets.
• Strong expertise in virtualization technologies, storage solutions, backup systems, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Comprehensive experience with service desk operations and IT service management (ITSM).
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to implement standards across various companies beyond direct reporting lines.

Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar, possess a transferable visa, and have a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
