Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a proficient IT Executive with 4 to 7 years of experience to offer advanced L2/L3 technical support encompassing IT systems, ERP applications, AWS/cloud infrastructure, and server management. This role involves direct collaboration with the IT head, ERP development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient business IT operations in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, network, servers, and applications, managing escalated issues and documenting resolutions.
- Provide comprehensive ERP technical assistance including troubleshooting, user access, integration, and configuration support, coordinating closely with the ERP development team.
- Administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch; manage Windows and Linux servers with routine patching and performance optimization.
- Support application deployment and release management in development through production environments, ensuring adherence to change management processes.
- Implement and monitor IT security protocols including user permissions, patches, antivirus, firewalls, and comply with organizational policies.
- Manage backup operations for servers, databases, and critical applications, performing regular restoration drills and maintaining documentation for disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and support network components like LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP; coordinate with internet providers and IT vendors as necessary.
- Liaise with multiple vendors and internal departments to resolve technical issues and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, licenses, and prepare reports including MIS, system health, and incident reports; support IT audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 4 to 7 years of proven experience in IT support including L2/L3 and ERP support.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure management and both Windows and Linux server administration.
- Competency in application support, deployment, and basic SQL/database knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Understanding of IT security practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication, coordination skills, and ability to work autonomously on complex issues.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, networking, IT infrastructure, or system administration are advantageous.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an independent, technically competent professional adept at managing complex IT issues across multiple domains. The person should be proactive in handling IT operations and capable of coordinating with technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders. Preference is given to immediate joiners or those with short notice periods.
Compensation
Monthly salary ranging between ₹40,000 and ₹45,000, translating to an annual compensation of approximately ₹4.00 to ₹5.75 lakhs.
