Located near the Museum of the Future and the Dubai International Financial Center, 25hours Hotel One Central brings Bedouin traditions into a modern context. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of the hotel-specific IT plan aligned with the broader IT strategy, utilizing service level agreements and internal quality controls to ensure projects meet budgets, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Apply guidelines from Group IT and Head of Technology to roll out group-wide systems, enterprise architecture, and hotel operations initiatives that enhance IT investments and innovations.
- Regularly evaluate and update hotel IT systems and infrastructures to maintain security, scalability, capacity, and reliability supporting operational growth.
- Supervise daily IT support services covering network connectivity, user access management, hardware setups, and ensure timely resolution aligned with agreed service levels.
- Handle ad-hoc IT inquiries from colleagues and guests, providing swift and accurate solutions to maintain high user service levels and uninterrupted business operations.
- Investigate escalated end-user IT issues, diagnose root causes, propose, and implement effective fixes for prompt problem resolution.
- Manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and interconnect points, ensuring infrastructure is modern, functional, and efficiently maintained.
- Oversee audiovisual (AV) services across the hotel, including arrangements for meeting rooms and event setups, ensuring smooth guest experience and flawless event execution.
- Coordinate AV support for VIP guests, conferences, and presentations with other departments, ensuring superior service and quick troubleshooting.
- Lead the IT department's daily functions, fostering teamwork, guiding work processes, and facilitating communications with stakeholders to maintain smooth IT operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental management procedures, contributing to delivering luxurious world-class hospitality services.
- Propose and implement improvements to departmental policies, monitor compliance, and ensure consistent service quality standards.
- Motivate team members and identify opportunities for improvements or transformative initiatives that enhance processes and productivity.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification or an equivalent professional credential.
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of IT experience, ideally in the international hospitality sector or in a reputed blue-chip company.
- Strong knowledge of IT processes such as applications management, database handling, and IT support services.
- Advanced proficiency in ICT and IT security standards.
- Good understanding of hotel operations and IT needs related to guest information management and loyalty programs.
- Competence in budgeting and planning for IT operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
