Job Responsibilities

• Recognize and address guest needs with expert bar service, providing personalized recommendations and upselling as appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Carry out daily operations following all departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality service and uphold excellence standards.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain world-class luxury hospitality standards.
• Meet quality standards and company expectations consistently.
• Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues and support teamwork to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain smooth workflow by following the sequence of service and standards detailed in the F&B Standards Manual.
• Serve beverages according to established portion controls and local licensing regulations.
• Prepare cocktails and drinks accurately using specified recipes.
• Process all drink transactions efficiently, ensuring proper registration and settlement.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance and uniform at all times.
• Prepare and arrange the bar area attractively, ensuring merchandise and visuals are well presented.
• Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as per checklist requirements.
• Work collaboratively with stewards to keep bar equipment and areas hygienic, clean, and well-stocked, especially with glassware.
• Monitor expiration dates of perishables, store garnishes properly, and keep accurate records.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, following company policies and legal regulations to promote safe consumption.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management conscientiously.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 to 4 years’ bartending experience in a luxury 5-star hotel, upscale bar, or fine dining environment.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage varieties, cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and impeccable bar service standards.
• Strong passion for hospitality and commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Proficient in using POS systems, managing cash, and professionally handling guest requests and complaints.
• Possess a warm, confident, and engaging personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and capable of maintaining composure and high service quality during busy periods.
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and hands-on approach.
• Understanding of bar hygiene standards, cleanliness protocols, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Fluent communicator in English.
