Role Overview

The IT Coordinator is responsible for managing daily IT support activities, prioritizing technical requests, and ensuring smooth operations of IT systems within the hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prioritize day-to-day IT support tasks according to operational urgency.
• Deliver first-level support for hardware, software applications, network connections, and hotel-specific IT systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, telephones, networking equipment, and associated IT devices.
• Diagnose technical problems and escalate complex issues to the IT Assistant Manager or authorized service providers as necessary.
• Administer user accounts, regulate system access, manage software installations, updates, and security patching.
• Maintain inventories of IT equipment, track software licenses, warranties, and service histories.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and technical assistance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar IT coordination role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated passion for people development, staff engagement, and hospitality excellence.
• Strong organizational capabilities coupled with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
