IT Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating the translation of business needs into precise requirements and practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, prioritize, and document both business and system-related requirements.
• Create various documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flow charts.
• Perform analysis of current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes to support initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, conduct workshops, and organize requirement validation sessions.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness activities, tracking requirements, and validating solutions.
• Develop business cases and assist with solution evaluations, gap analyses, and impact assessments.
• Contribute to digital transformation and automation projects.
• Generate KPI reports, construct dashboards, and provide business insights to aid decision making.
• Work collaboratively with business units, IT architects, software developers, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.
• Ensure solutions proposed meet business requirements and support organizational goals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in the role of a Business Analyst within a corporate environment.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Corporate IT, with preference for backgrounds in Retail, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, or Real Estate sectors.
• Proficient in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, creating documentation, and managing stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), preparing business cases, performing gap analyses, conducting impact assessments, and managing change requests.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable IT requirements.

• ITIL V4
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

Desirable Certifications

• The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
• Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT)
