Position Summary

Within the Banking division, engaging projects await you near the Rhein Main area. As an IT Architect, you will collaborate directly onsite with banking clients, integrating IT applications into their infrastructure to support, enhance, and precisely map ongoing business processes. Together with clients, you will develop IT architecture plans and make decisions about potential solutions. Your role involves combining various components such as infrastructure, software, and interfaces into a seamless, homogeneous system.
Working at the highest tier of IT hierarchy, you will liaise across departments. The specific applications under your management will vary depending on the project.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document data requirements within existing IT infrastructures alongside clients.
  • Share knowledge through workshops with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, change management, technical teams, and enterprise architecture to ensure solutions comply with client regulations.
  • Design stable yet flexible system architectures that allow for future growth.
  • Continuously evaluate alternatives and IT modules to optimize business processes.
  • Plan and define IT infrastructures effectively.
  • Analyze workflows and perform current vs. target state assessments.
  • Assess feasibility of new IT solutions.
  • Balance detailed technical work with abstraction capabilities.
  • Organize and moderate workshops; prepare presentations for various audiences.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree preferably in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in an IT architect role.
  • Background in IT management with a strong passion for designing system architectures.
  • Expertise in both IT and management domains.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Strong team orientation and communication skills.
  • High motivation and proactiveness.
  • Preferably experience in financial services.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

In addition to technical skills, social competence is vital. You should be adept at attentive listening and thorough analysis of client needs. Your broad subject-matter expertise enables you to select optimal solutions from team ideas and orchestrate ideal system architectures.
