Role Overview
The iOS Engineer will become part of the Customer Experience team, focusing on the development and enhancement of the iPhone and iPad applications. This role involves creating high-quality, scalable features that deliver outstanding customer experiences. The apps serve over 8 million active users worldwide, maintain excellent ratings on the App Store, and utilize modern iOS technologies like the latest Swift versions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver robust iOS features adhering to platform best practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with design teams to build clear, accessible, and polished user interfaces.
- Work within an agile, cross-functional team environment, sharing responsibility for team deliverables.
- Assume ownership of assigned work while proactively suggesting improvements across the codebase.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and incorporate testing to provide a stable user experience.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in building iOS applications with Swift and core iOS frameworks.
- Proficient in Xcode, Interface Builder, and Auto Layout for responsive UI development.
- Strong understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and design principles.
- Familiar with common software design patterns and architectural concepts.
- Passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and enhancing existing codebases.
- Experience developing applications that gracefully handle different screen sizes for iPhone and iPad.
- Knowledge or willingness to engage in unit testing and improving test coverage.
- Experience with UI automation tools or eagerness to learn them.
