Job Overview

We seek a seasoned iOS Engineer based in Dubai with 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, test, and support scalable and secure iOS applications. The role demands deep proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Core Data, Auto Layout, RESTful API integration, and modern iOS architectural models.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain high-quality production iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Design user-friendly, scalable, and responsive mobile interfaces.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver features.
• Author clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON services, and third-party SDKs effectively.
• Implement iOS functionalities with Apple frameworks including UIKit, Core Data, and Auto Layout.
• Apply architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or similar to ensure robust app structure.
• Focus on performance tuning, memory optimization, responsiveness, and stability enhancement.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold coding and security standards.
• Diagnose and resolve production bugs promptly.
• Develop and maintain both unit and UI automated tests to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
• Manage App Store deployment cycles, including releases and ongoing maintenance.
• Keep abreast of the latest iOS technologies, frameworks, and Apple development guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in iOS development.
• Proficient in Swift and practical knowledge of Objective-C.
• Hands-on experience with UIKit, Core Data, Auto Layout, and other relevant Apple frameworks.
• Expertise integrating REST APIs, working with JSON, and incorporating third-party SDKs.
• Strong grasp of architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVC.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Solid skills in debugging, testing processes, performance improvements, and memory management.
• Track record of developing and maintaining production-ready iOS applications.
• Preferably published applications available on the App Store.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.

Preferred Industry Background

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech sectors.
• Insight into Payments or Digital Payment platforms.
• Background with Stock Market, Trading, Forex, or Brokerage applications.
• Knowledge of Investment or Wealth Management applications.
• Direct expertise on trading platforms, market data systems, order execution, portfolios, investment apps, payment gateways or banking solutions is a significant plus.
