Eklavya offers an educational platform that delivers interactive learning games and activities designed for children. We are seeking a meticulous QA Tester to ensure the quality and usability of our iOS application. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to an educational initiative aimed at bridging the digital divide.

Role Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing of the Eklavya iOS app on actual iPhone devices, with iPad testing preferred.
Comprehend each feature’s function, anticipated behavior, and entire user flow before executing tests.
Test critical modules including registration, login, child profile management, subscriptions, various learning activities, games, rewards, audio and video functions, and app navigation.
Perform detailed evaluation of educational games, focusing on instructions, gameplay mechanics, scoring systems, progress tracking, and completion criteria.
Identify any issues specific to iOS compatibility and overall functionality.
Execute multiple testing methodologies, such as functional, usability, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing.
Document and report bugs with comprehensive reproduction steps, clearly distinguishing expected vs actual outcomes, attaching screenshots or recordings, and noting device details such as model and iOS version along with severity level.
Verify fixes by retesting previously identified issues across relevant devices after resolution.
Offer suggestions to enhance usability from the perspectives of both children and their parents.

Candidate Eligibility

Availability to work remotely from home.
Availability to start between 11th September 2026 and 16th October 2026.
Commitment to a 6-month internship duration.
Possession of relevant skills and genuine interest in the role.
Encouragement for women looking to start or restart their careers to apply.
Enrollment in Computer Science Engineering studies is required.

Required Candidate Profile

Ownership and frequent usage of at least one supported iPhone; access to multiple iPhones or an iPad is preferred.
Provision of device model, screen size, and installed iOS version when applying is mandatory.
Prior experience in testing iOS applications is essential.
Familiarity with TestFlight and mobile bug-reporting tools is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail with an aptitude for interpreting complex product requirements.
Capability to discern between functional bugs, content errors, usability flaws, and device-specific discrepancies.
Strong written communication skills for clear reporting.
Experience with testing children-focused, educational, gaming, or subscription-based apps will be considered a plus.
