Role Overview

The Investigative Analyst will perform comprehensive analyses and investigative research, including public record examinations. This role involves gathering diverse data, identifying intelligence gaps, preparing investigative files and reports, and ensuring the thorough completion of assignments.

Key Duties

• Collect intelligence through field observations, confidential informants, and public record investigations.
• Build and maintain professional ties with government entities supplying public information.
• Assimilate, analyze, and appraise data and findings from research and investigations.
• Detect warning signs in reports such as litigation records, politically exposed individuals, sanctions, adverse media, inflated titles, employment inconsistencies, and forged credentials.
• Produce coherent, unbiased reports assessing the legitimacy, background, and reputation of companies and individuals under scrutiny.
• Manage several due diligence, background screening, and insurance claim investigation cases until completion.
• Monitor case progression to ensure deadlines are met.
• Create accurate, quality-written reports.
• Coordinate necessary follow-ups with external stakeholders.
• Support document handling related to analyses.
• Work collaboratively with international teams and vendors to fulfill required scopes.
• Exhibit sound judgment and commitment aligned with company values and vision.
• Adhere to applicable ISO standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Law, International Relations/Affairs, or similar disciplines.
• At least 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Preferably experienced with due diligence, research, legal investigations, or risk management roles.
• Additional certifications may be considered based on position specifics.
• Eligible to access court and police records for research purposes.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks.
• Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing.
• Strong skills in report writing.
• Demonstrated experience in areas such as education verification, professional affiliation validation, pre-employment history assessment, international credit searches, and international criminal record checks.
