Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Collect intelligence through field observations, confidential informants, and public records.
• Build and maintain professional connections with governmental bodies that provide publicly accessible information.
• Gather, synthesize, analyze, and assess data and investigative findings.
• Detect warning signs in reports such as litigation, politically exposed individuals, sanctions listings, negative media coverage, falsified employment details, and counterfeit qualifications.
• Produce clear, logically organized, and unbiased reports focusing on the background, legitimacy, and reputation of companies and individuals.
• Oversee several due diligence, background checks, and insurance claim investigations until closure.
• Monitor case progress and ensure deadlines are met promptly.
• Deliver precise and thorough written documentation.
• Follow up appropriately with external parties as required.
• Support document management pertinent to conducted analyses.
• Collaborate with colleagues and vendors worldwide to fulfill project requirements.
• Exemplify sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to the company's mission.
• Adhere to current and pending ISO standards, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, based on organizational needs.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Law, International Relations/Affairs, or related disciplines.
• Between one and three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in due diligence, legal research, investigations, or risk management.
• Eligibility to access court and police records for research purposes.
• Preparedness to undergo the company’s pre-employment screening, including drug tests and background checks.
• Proficiency in English communication, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong report-writing abilities.

Relevant Expertise Required

• Verification of educational credentials.
• Validation of professional memberships or affiliations.
• Review of employment history over the past 10 years.
• Conducting international credit history searches.
• Performing international criminal record checks as applicable by jurisdiction.
