Inventory Coordinator

Role Overview

Join Evolution Healthcare at Royston Hospital as an Inventory Coordinator, supporting the Theatre Department's smooth operation by managing loan equipment, implants, and instruments necessary for scheduled surgeries. This role requires strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize the dispatch, receipt, tracking, and documentation of loaned surgical sets and equipment.
• Communicate with suppliers and external parties to manage prosthesis and loan equipment needs for upcoming theatre schedules.
• Maintain accurate electronic databases and records, ensuring data is current and accessible.
• Oversee long-term loan equipment and prosthesis, monitoring stock quantities and expiration dates.
• Track instruments sent for repair or maintenance and ensure their prompt return.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, audit processes, and departmental quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with theatre teams and other hospital departments to help surgical schedules proceed without interruption.

Candidate Profile

We seek a highly organized individual comfortable in a fast-paced setting who values delivering excellent administrative and operational support. Prior experience in healthcare settings, logistics, inventory management, or similar coordination roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
