About the Role
The Internal Finance Auditor is tasked with performing detailed financial audits across various stores to verify accuracy and compliance, ensuring strong financial controls are in place. This position focuses on evaluating sales, cash handling, inventory management, purchase transactions, expenses, discounts, and day-to-day transactions to uncover any inconsistencies, financial losses, or procedural weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of sales, cash handling, inventory, purchases, expenses, discounts, and daily transaction records.
- Collaborate effectively with both store personnel and finance teams to collect and verify relevant documents.
- Compare physical records with system-generated data to confirm accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed audit reports outlining findings and observations.
- Offer timely recommendations aimed at minimizing financial risks and enhancing operational controls.
