About the Role
Step into a vibrant Communications team at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, where you will get a comprehensive hands-on experience that could launch your career in Communications. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to public relations strategies, media relations, social media content creation, and event coordination within a fast-moving environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor media coverage daily across print and digital platforms to keep the team informed.
- Compile and update regular public relations performance reports.
- Assist with organizing and facilitating filming sessions and photoshoots on site.
- Support drafting of press releases and creation of media invitations.
- Maintain and update digital resources such as the online media center, image library, and media contact lists.
- Help plan and execute media-related events and activities.
- Coordinate and assist with media tours conducted on the property.
- Manage logistics for media familiarization trips including accommodation, transport, and budget tracking.
- Provide logistical and preparatory assistance for volunteer events held quarterly.
- Lead and manage a designated small project during the internship tenure.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a degree program.
- The internship should fulfill academic graduation requirements.
- No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to support colleagues as needed.
- Experience in creating or shooting social media videos considered a plus.
- Available to commit at least six months for the internship starting June 2026.
- Highly motivated to learn and meticulous in approach.
