Position Overview

The Intermediate Designer will develop creative visuals and content for the Baby category of ZURU Edge, covering digital, print, and retail formats. Working closely with the Baby Design Lead and brand managers, this role involves designing marketing collateral, social media content, and motion graphics while adhering to brand style guidelines from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Produce top-quality design and content for digital, print, and point-of-sale materials aligned with each Baby brand’s identity and project goals.
• Create influencer packages, in-store displays, print collateral, social media posts, eDMs, website components, and digital advertisements.
• Develop motion graphics and animation as part of digital asset creation.
• Manage projects from initial concept through to final execution, making informed design decisions and communicating any scope or brand issues promptly.
• Ensure consistent visual language across all brand touchpoints and organize design assets, performing basic image and video color correction.
• Collaborate with senior designers, marketers, product managers, and project managers to deliver compelling design solutions and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
• Set high standards for file management and design processes for junior designers, stay updated on evolving design trends and tools including 3D animation and motion graphics, and share insights through internal learning sessions.

Requirements

• Between 4 to 7 years of professional experience in graphic design roles.
• A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or related field.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
• Experience in motion graphics, animation, and video editing; illustration skills are a bonus.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, color theory, layout, and detail for both digital and print projects.
