Intermediate Architectural Drafter

About the Role

KTR Creations, based in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Draftsperson to enhance our expanding design and drafting team. This role provides an excellent chance for someone with solid residential drafting expertise, who values quality and collaboration, to contribute to the creation of superior homes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive architectural drawings and documentation.
• Develop plans progressing from initial concepts to detailed construction documents.
• Work with designer concepts and client briefs to produce precise, buildable drawings.
• Collaborate and maintain communication with designers, consultants, and the broader team.
• Revise drawings in response to project needs and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage personal workload effectively to meet project deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a minimum of two years residential drafting experience.
• Proficient in 2D CAD software.
• Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and maintains high documentation standards.
• Understands residential construction methods and building practices.
• Capable of interpreting and developing architectural concepts.
• Organized and capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Takes pride in delivering quality work.
• Works well independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrates a positive, proactive mindset along with eagerness to further develop skills.
