Interior Designer

About the Role

We seek a skilled and imaginative Interior Designer to conceive and develop aesthetically pleasing, functional, and practical interior environments. The role encompasses understanding client needs, crafting design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and 3D models, and collaborating with execution teams to realize the design vision accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client requirements, preferences, and project details to inform design decisions.
• Create innovative and effective interior design concepts aligned with client vision.
• Produce comprehensive 2D drawings including construction and architectural plans.
• Develop 3D layouts and realistic visualizations utilizing software such as 3D Max, 3ds Max, and Google SketchUp.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and design proposals for client approval.
• Make informed selections of materials, furnishings, finishes, colors, and lighting schemes.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant architectural codes, regulations, and construction standards.
• Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, suppliers, and site personnel for smooth project execution.
• Verify site measurements and confirm design feasibility for on-site implementation.
• Adjust designs in response to client feedback and site constraints.
• Track project progress ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain organized project drawings, design records, and documentation.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends, materials, and practices in interior design and construction.

Requirements

• Graduate-level education in a relevant field.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• A minimum of three years' professional experience in interior design.
• Comprehensive understanding of interior and architectural design principles.
• Competency in 3D Max, 3ds Max, Google SketchUp, and rendering software.
• Familiarity with construction and architectural drawing standards.
• Knowledge of applicable interior design codes and regulations.
• Excellent grasp of materials, finishes, space planning, and design fundamentals.
• Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective coordination and client interaction skills.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Full-time day shift
• Monthly remuneration between ₹25,000 and ₹40,000, comprising a fixed salary of ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 plus incentives up to ₹5,000.
• Additional benefits include an annual bonus, travel allowance, ESI (ESIC), mobile allowance, meal provisions, and one-way cab service.
