Job Overview
As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients to capture their vision and translate it into practical, appealing interior designs. Your role involves assessing spaces, developing creative concepts, and managing projects from inception through to completion while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed consultations with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and financial constraints while evaluating spatial suitability.
- Devise original design concepts including mood boards, color schemes, and 3D visualizations to clearly convey proposed ideas.
- Plan efficient use of space by creating layouts and floor plans that enhance flow and functionality.
- Select appropriate materials, furnishings, lighting, textiles, finishes, and decorative elements that combine style, longevity, and budget considerations.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, coordinating activities among contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety protocols, and accessibility requirements.
- Prepare detailed visual presentations and proposals to secure client approval and feedback.
- Remain informed on current industry trends, sustainable design practices, and new technologies applicable to interior design.
