Interior Design Specialist

Job Overview

This role is focused on inspiring and engaging visitors by showcasing and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offerings through impressive visual displays that surpass customer expectations. The goal is to reinforce the IKEA Brand by aligning commercial strategies with national and local market demands to maximize visitor conversion, sales, and profitability in the Jeddah location.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in home furnishing to develop inspiring and practical solutions across various room sets, homes, vignettes, and sales support zones that align with IKEA's identity.
• Collect insights from home visits and customer feedback, translating these into locally relevant, functional, aesthetically pleasing, and commercially attractive home furnishing solutions.
• Participate in creating the Showroom Matrix, ensuring diversity in styles, living conditions, and pricing tiers with strong and clear visual presentations.
• Plan and implement range presentation solutions efficiently and cost-effectively using IKEA global tools and best practices.
• Utilize IKEA Revit software, libraries, and templates to deliver commercial planning and compilation packages within established deadlines.
• Keep current with trends in home furnishing, retail, and the market; actively contribute creative ideas during workshops and planning meetings.
• Support the department’s action plan by proposing initiatives aimed at boosting business growth, increasing sales, and enhancing long-term profitability.
• Collaborate closely with the Com&In team and other departments to carry out planned activities and identify business opportunities.
• Understand the financial consequences of actions, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Maintain strong customer focus on the sales floor by minimizing disruption, preserving safety and a positive visual environment at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with more than two years of relevant experience are preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit software is advantageous.
• Genuine interest in home furnishings, interior design, retail patterns, and up-to-date trends.
• Possesses a strong appreciation of aesthetics, functionality, and commercial visual presentation.
• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and departments.
• Exhibits strong organizational skills, careful planning, and keen attention to detail.
