About the Role

We seek a creative, commercially savvy Interior Design Consultant capable of generating innovative product ideas and effectively presenting and selling those concepts to clients. This client-facing position blends design proficiency with consultative sales skills, suited for someone who enjoys addressing customer challenges while fostering strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop imaginative and practical product designs tailored to client needs.
• Create sketches and polished presentations to communicate design ideas clearly.
• Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
• Modify designs according to client feedback and project specifications.
• Engage with new and existing clients to comprehend their objectives and requirements.
• Present product concepts persuasively, underlining design decisions, features, benefits, and value.
• Effectively address client concerns and adjust proposals as necessary.
• Establish trust and nurture long-term client relationships.
• Lead commercial negotiations alongside management support.
• Manage projects from initial concept presentation through to order finalization.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up on prospective clients.
• Coordinate with production and operations teams for smooth project delivery.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in presenting design concepts and managing client interactions.
