Role Description
The role of Insurance Specialist is a full-time on-site position based in Riyadh. This specialist is responsible for overseeing insurance policies pertinent to the company’s engineering and contracting operations. Key duties include reviewing policy coverage details, tracking renewals, and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. The specialist will interact regularly with insurance brokers and providers to negotiate terms, handle claim processes, and safeguard company interests. Daily tasks encompass risk assessment, preparing and maintaining documentation, record-keeping, and advising internal teams concerning insurance matters. Additional responsibilities include responding to inquiries, aiding internal audits, and enhancing insurance management procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of three years professional experience, particularly in corporate or commercial insurance within engineering, construction, or related fields.
- Expertise in insurance and insurance brokerage, encompassing policy management, coverage evaluation, and claims processing.
- Skills in finance for analyzing premiums, budgeting, and optimizing costs.
- Strong communication abilities to effectively coordinate with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Customer service aptitude to support internal needs and resolve insurance-related issues professionally.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in documentation accuracy.
- Familiarity with office productivity tools and insurance-specific software; knowledge of regional insurance regulations is a plus.
- Educational background including a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
