Instructor Aide (Ang Mo Kio)

Job Summary

The Instructor Aide will provide essential training support within the Centre For Adults. This role focuses on delivering engagement and structured training programs for individuals participating in the Day Activity Centre and Sheltered Workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement activities and structured instructional sessions tailored for beneficiaries in both Day Activity Centre and Sheltered Workshop settings.
• Provide supervision and individualized assistance, utilizing coaching methods, task breakdowns, and behavioral support techniques.
• Design and develop visual aids, perform task analyses, and establish structured routines to aid in skill acquisition and learning.
• Work collaboratively with beneficiaries, their families, instructors, allied health professionals, alumni, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care and engagement.
• Maintain detailed records of programs and participant progress while assisting with operational planning and administrative responsibilities.
• Participate actively in centre events, community outreach programs, and ongoing improvement initiatives, demonstrating adaptability to changing operational and program requirements.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Nitec qualification or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate passion, initiative, and creativity with a strong commitment to positively impacting the community.
• Exhibit effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Have prior experience interacting with clients who have special needs.
• Administrative experience will be considered an advantage.
