Institutional Cooperation Expert

About the Role

NTU International A/S leads a consortium preparing a proposal for the EU-funded "Egypt Downtown Facility" project. The key goal is to bolster the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and Egypt by delivering prompt, flexible, and premium technical support. This will enhance policy dialogue, improve the implementation of programs, and strengthen the institutional capacities of Egyptian partners engaged in EU initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Non-Key Expert in Institutional Cooperation will provide technical support on assignments related to institutional collaboration. Tasks include facilitating peer-to-peer interactions between public administrations, utilizing TAIEX and Twinning instruments, organizing expert missions, conducting study visits, and enhancing institutional capacity development.

Qualifications and Professional Skills

• Master's degree in fields such as international relations, European studies, public administration, law, political science, or similar disciplines.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Minimum of seven years relevant professional experience focused on fostering institutional cooperation between public sector entities.
• Experience with TAIEX, Twinning, or equivalent peer-to-peer institutional collaboration tools.
• Ability to coordinate expert missions, institutional exchanges, and study visits.
• Preferred experience in delivering training and capacity-building activities.
• Understanding of EU institutions and public administrations within Member States.
