About the Role
Join CMC Markets, a global leader in CFD trading and share investing, to drive the expansion of institutional, broker, and adviser access to markets in Australia and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline targeting planner and advisory, indirect participants, and institutional segments.
- Lead outbound marketing campaigns and revive engagement with inactive intermediaries and brokers.
- Successfully close sales deals, prioritizing those with significant revenue potential.
- Create proposals and presentations, and respond to Requests for Information, Proposals, and tenders.
- Negotiate business terms and perform due diligence on prospective clients.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and contribute insights on marketing budget allocations based on past successes.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and roadshows while acting as a brand ambassador.
- Provide feedback and market insights from clients to senior leadership and product teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong enthusiasm for financial markets, particularly stockbroking or institutional products.
- Proven track record in business development with successful pipeline building, opportunity creation, and deal closing.
- Experienced in negotiating complex commercial and contractual agreements.
- Holds tertiary qualifications in Finance or Commerce and RG146 accreditation.
- Minimum of five years' experience within Australian financial markets.
- Demonstrates self-motivation, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to detect business opportunities.
- Capable of working autonomously and contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Skilled in strategic planning and managing organized sales processes.
