Inspection Engineer - Maintenance

Job Purpose

Ensure the quality and compliance of Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor Inspection and Integrity outputs for assigned packages. Guarantee that all contractor activities align with company standards, specifications, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in technical reviews on maintainability and inspectability of installations during all project phases including pre-feed, feed, and detailed engineering.
• Ensure Inspection and Integrity Engineering tasks comply with Maintenance & Inspection Engineering contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Work Package Leaders of MIE Contractors on inspection-related issues.
• Review technical documents as needed, providing feedback through the company’s Electronic Document Management System (MANASA).
• Follow up on clarifications and requests from the FOPS Method team concerning completed MIE projects.
• Coordinate and execute offshore scopes related to Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contract, and promote the implementation of digitalized baseline solutions onsite.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in Inspection Engineering within petrochemical, refining, oil & gas exploration, or related sectors.
• Proven proficiency in Risk Based Inspection (RBI), preferably in relevant industries.
• Hands-on experience with CMIMS software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations in the inspection discipline.
• Familiarity with company standards, MANASA system, and associated codes and standards.
• Fluent English communication skills including technical terminology.
• Proficient with computers.
• Strong communication and analytical competencies.
• Adaptable to multicultural and complex work settings.
• Willingness and medical fitness for offshore travel and assignments.
