Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine backups, disaster recovery exercises, and verify data integrity regularly.
- Apply security patches, updates, and perform vulnerability assessments across the entire IT infrastructure.
- Enhance system configurations for optimal hardware utilization and virtualization management, especially with VMware and Nutanix platforms.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to system setups, operational processes, and incident handling.
- Manage and monitor cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking across public and hybrid environments.

- Oversee Linux servers—particularly Red Hat-based distributions like RHEL, CentOS, and Rocky Linux—with tasks encompassing shell scripting, package management, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Automate server provisioning and maintenance using PowerShell scripts (Windows) and Ansible or Bash scripts (Linux).
- Identify root causes and resolve server-related incidents effectively.
- Manage Active Directory environments, including user/group policies, permissions, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Azure AD hybrid setups.
- Perform Active Directory health monitoring, security audits, and compliance checks.
- Integrate Active Directory with multiple systems for unified identity and access management.
- Implement least privilege access standards and regularly review access rights.
- Support directory services migrations, upgrades, and federation implementations as needed.
- Configure and manage hyperconverged infrastructure components such as nodes and storage pools for balanced workloads and high availability.
- Conduct failover clustering tests and disaster recovery validations.
- Apply firmware updates to HCI hardware and hypervisor software using vendor-specific tools like Nutanix Prism and VMware vSAN.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in IT infrastructure administration, including at least 2 years in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing hybrid IT infrastructure, involving public and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
- Professional certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Nutanix or Dell VxRail certifications, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration covering Active Directory, Group Policy management, PowerShell automation, and server clustering.
- Advanced Linux administration skills focused on Red Hat-based systems, including installation, patch management, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization technologies, notably VMware and Nutanix implementations.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructures and services across public and hybrid environments.
- Expertise in enterprise backup solutions, disaster recovery protocols, and business continuity planning.
