About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer Lead with expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline, alongside 7 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud platforms. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing Azure environments, covering compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and governance.
Technical Responsibilities
- Design and build Azure infrastructure from the ground up.
- Administer and support Azure services including Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux), Networking components such as VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancer.
- Manage Azure Storage Accounts, Managed Disks, Azure Backup, and Site Recovery solutions.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) with RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM.
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Security tools including Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Utilize Azure Key Vault, Azure Policies, and App Services (PaaS) effectively.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
- Leverage Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee and maintain Azure infrastructure services and ensure optimal health and performance monitoring.
- Automate frequent operational tasks via PowerShell and Azure Automation.
- Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure and network issues, offering Level 3 technical support.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and handle P1/P2 critical incidents.
- Support cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Work in a 24x7 support environment, including on-call duties.
- Produce accurate documentation and reports.
Troubleshooting Expertise
- Diagnose and resolve complex Azure infrastructure and network connectivity problems.
- Conduct RCA and documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization for Azure resources.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Support for issue escalations as required.
