Job Overview

The primary objective is to oversee, run, and improve Linux server ecosystems, deployment workflows, container platforms, and network utilities ensuring dependable performance and top-notch troubleshooting capabilities. This position guarantees steady infrastructure functioning, smooth deployments, secure setups, and consistent monitoring across virtual and container-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of Linux servers and virtual machines while maintaining high availability and performance.
• Design, operate, and fine-tune deployment pipelines and monitoring tools to proactively identify and address problems.
• Administer Docker and related container runtimes; handle building, deploying, and sustaining containerized software.
• Support Kubernetes cluster management including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide assistance in operating OpenShift and Kafka platforms and acquire expertise as required.
• Set up, debug, and optimize TCP/IP networking for efficient communication and routing.
• Administer and secure Linux-based network services with advanced expertise.
• Configure, optimize, and resolve issues for Nginx or similar reverse proxy web servers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient to expert level in Linux server administration.
• Skilled in virtualization technologies involving virtual machines.
• Experienced with deployment tools and continuous integration pipelines.
• Competent in utilizing monitoring tools for system health and performance.
• Advanced knowledge of Docker and container runtimes.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
• Expertise in Linux network services management.
• Kubernetes experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Nginx or equivalent server software is preferred.
• Training provided for OpenShift and Kafka platforms which are optional skills.
