Job description
Overview
The Information Technology Manager will oversee all facets of the organization's IT functions, acting as the primary leader for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Technical Support, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity operations. This role ensures IT systems are aligned with business goals, maintained for operational stability, and protected against security threats to support seamless organizational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize ERP systems to enhance processes in departments such as Finance, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Lead ERP system upgrades, patches, and deployment of modules collaborating with vendors and stakeholders.
- Set and enforce data governance and ERP usage policies; provide training and documentation to users and administrators.
- Monitor ERP performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for support while recommending new modules or integrations.
- Supervise the IT helpdesk to ensure rapid resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Establish and monitor SLAs for support tiers; manage support team scheduling, evaluations, and growth.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, manage procurement and equipment lifecycle.
- Implement IT service management and ticketing systems; ensure business continuity via maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Design, deploy, and administer cloud infrastructure ensuring reliability, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and high availability.
- Lead cloud migration projects; establish infrastructure-as-code and automate provisioning workflows.
- Monitor cloud system performance and support development teams with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline needs.
- Develop and execute cybersecurity strategy, policies, and frameworks to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security audits regularly.
- Manage identity/access controls, multi-factor authentication, and implement zero-trust principles.
- Oversee security incident response, investigations, and remediation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and NCA.
- Deliver security awareness training to all staff and manage security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and DLP.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT including at least 3 years in managerial or leadership positions.
- Expertise in managing ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven skills in managing cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated capability in leading cybersecurity measures and managing security incidents.
- Experience managing IT helpdesk functions and end-user support operations.
- Strong technical problem-solving aptitude along with excellent communication skills.
