As an Information Security Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining the corporate Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensuring adherence to various regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the ISMS to align with industry best practices.
• Ensure organizational compliance with relevant security standards and regulations such as NIS2, EASA Part-IS, ISO/IEC 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Carry out security risk evaluations and recommend appropriate non-technical mitigation strategies.
• Conduct non-technical security assessments of vendors, partners, and new business initiatives.
• Collaborate on internal and external auditing processes, along with certification and compliance activities.
• Support security incident management and contribute to risk reporting efforts.
• Lead initiatives for security awareness and training throughout the organization.
• Provide expert counsel to business and IT leaders regarding information security requirements and optimal practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Information Security Governance, ISMS, Risk Management, and Compliance.
• Thorough understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 standards and security governance.
• Familiarity with various regulatory mandates including NIS2, GDPR, EASA Part-IS, and PCI DSS.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously with a methodical and proactive approach.
• Fluency in English at C2 level.
• Possession of certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
• Experience managing supplier security, incident handling, and audit processes.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, AI governance frameworks, and regulations specific to the aviation sector.
• Fluent German skills at C1 or C2 level.
