Information Communication Technology Teacher

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position located in Doha, Qatar, involves delivering engaging ICT lessons consistent with the American curriculum to students across multiple grade levels. Responsibilities include planning lesson content, teaching topics related to information technology and computer science, evaluating student progress, and offering constructive feedback to support learning.

The teacher will integrate various technologies into classroom activities, foster digital literacy and communication skills among students, and cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess valid teaching certifications and relevant experience in ICT or closely related subjects.
• Strong expertise in Information Technology and Computer Science to effectively teach the curriculum.
• Excellent communication abilities to provide clear instruction, collaborate with staff, and engage with students and their families.
• Skillful in lesson planning, creating structured, age-appropriate, and differentiated ICT lessons to accommodate varied learner needs.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are considered beneficial.
• Previous experience teaching within an American or international curriculum school is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in using educational technology tools, learning management systems, and digital platforms that support instructional delivery.
• Demonstrate commitment to inclusive education practices, effective classroom management, and student-focused teaching that embraces diversity.
