About the Role
As an Informatica MDM Developer specializing in Product 360, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining master data management solutions focused on product domains using Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Product 360 platform. This position requires a hands-on approach to designing data models, managing match and merge processes, ensuring data quality, enriching data, handling hierarchy, and integrating with other systems to produce precise and governed Product Golden Records.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of master data solutions for product data domains within Informatica IDMC Product 360.
- Perform detailed product data modeling including Business Entities, Attributes, and Reference Data.
- Implement and manage product classifications, categories, multi-level hierarchies, and relationships.
- Develop and configure match models and rules including exact and fuzzy matching on product attributes such as name, manufacturer part number, SKU, UPC, and EAN.
- Establish and apply merge rules and survivorship logic supporting automerge and steward-driven workflows.
- Support data unmerge processes and audit requirements ensuring compliance.
- Configure trust rules at both source and attribute levels to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with downstream systems (ERP, PIM, eCommerce) ensuring data alignment and consistency.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 8+ years of experience in Master Data Management implementations.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica MDM solutions.
- Minimum 2 years working with Informatica's IDMC Product 360 platform.
- In-depth expertise in product data modeling concepts including SKU, variants, and attributes.
- Proficient understanding of match and merge techniques and survivorship strategies.
- Strong SQL skills for data handling and manipulation.
