Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

Overview

This role is for an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks at the company’s physical site. Proficiency in English is required. Candidates should hold either a trades certificate or diploma or have equivalent experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and machinery components.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment abnormalities and failures.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning machine parts as needed.
• Conduct scheduled routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
• Install new machinery and equipment on site.
• Operate lifting and hoisting machinery safely during installation or maintenance tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
• Possesses Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal endorsement.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in the trade.

Work Conditions

This position requires on-site presence at our Mississauga, Ontario location. Remote work is not an option.
